Pop Ups DVD for learning to read

$19.95

Pop Up was first aired on NBC in 1970, and was played during program breaks as an educational alternative to commercials. It is based on Dr. Gattegno's approach to literacy education, Words in Color, and on his approach to maximizing learning using television.

As one of the first people to use TV as an educational tool, his ideas were far reaching. (In 1969, he released his book Towards A Visual Culture: Educating Through Television which tied together the human capacity for visual learning, and television as a visual medium.) Below is the complete original series of Pop Up segments.

*This DVD of Pop Ups is a complete remake using modern animation software, and high-quality audio.*
